Salary of Two Employees Deducted For Unauthorised Absence

Srinagar: Authorities on Saturday ordered for salary deduction for two employees who were found absent from their duties at the district Tuberculosis hospital in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Quoting an official, KNO reported that the employees were found unauthorisedly absent during a surprise check on Friday. “Following this additional deputy commissioner Sopore ordered their salary deduction.”

“The deducted salary will be credited into the account of the district Red Cross fund. Moreover, ADC has sought a report from the district Tuberculosis officer within 3 days to explain their position,” he said.
