Downtown roads to be macadamised soon: Div Com Kashmir

 

Srinagar : Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri Tuesday said that downtown roads will be macadamised soon.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir as per KNS said that earlier there was an issue of laying sewer lines in downtown parts which however has been completed now and in the subsequent process the roads of downtown areas will be black topped soon.

He said authorities avoid regular inspection of undergoing works in downtown areas owing to narrow roads. “But I assure that the things are on the track,” Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Bidhuri added.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir said the city centre Lal Chowk will be beautified at par to attract more and more visitors. “Once Lal Chowk is made beautiful, people will forget the Polo-View,” he added.
