Shepherd slips to death in forest area of Kangan

Ganderbal: A shepherd died after he slipped from a cliff in the upper reaches of Baba Nagri Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Police sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that a shepherd had gone to a forest area to take care of the live stock. While walking on the cliff, he had a fall and died on the spot.

Police sources identified the deceased as Muhammad Amjid Raina son of Muhammad Amin Raina a resident of Baba Nagri Wangath.
Police have registered a case in this regard. [KNT]
