SSP Pulwama chairs crime/security review meeting

Pulwama, Aug 18: SSP Pulwama Shri Mohd Yousif-JKPS chaired a crime/security review meeting at District Police Office Pulwama. SDPOs, DySP Hqrs Pulwama, DySP DAR, DySP Ops, SHOs, and In-charge PPs of District Pulwama attended the meeting. The meeting was held to discuss ways to enhance security and keep the community safe.
During the meeting, SSP Pulwama urged the participants to expedite anti-terrorist operations and prioritize the prompt disposal of pending UAPA cases. The security of vulnerable individuals and other crucial aspects of policing, such as verifications, disposal of NDPS cases, inquest proceedings, and other pertinent issues related to accountable policing, were extensively discussed. This meeting gave participants a chance to talk about what has been achieved since the last meetings and to come up with ideas on how to make things even better. They talked about how to improve investigations, especially in cases related to drugs and unlawful activities. They also discussed how to make sure that the police are being responsible and doing their jobs well.
SSP Pulwama stressed on making the strategies and plans to fight crime in more effective manner. The officers were urged to make all possible efforts to fight against menace of drug abuse and work with dedication to prevent social crimes. He asked everyone to work together to solve problems and make sure that the police are helping the community as much as they can. By adopting a public-centric approach and promptly addressing citizen grievances, the police reaffirm their commitment to fostering trust and cooperation within the community.“`
