Srinagar : A non-local resident was apprehended with a pistol at Regal Chowk in the summer capital Srinagar district on Thursday.
On Thursday, police arrested Lakesh Badia Yogi, the son of Kishore Badia, who hails from Sankost, West Bengal. He was found in possession of a pistol at Regal Chowk, Srinagar.

“One person, namely Lokesh Kumar from Alipurduar, West Bengal, residing at Ellahi Bagh Soura, was caught with a pistol during a joint checkpoint at Regal Chowk in the early hours. He had stolen the pistol the same night from the residence of a registered license holder. FIR 31/2023 has been lodged at PS Kothibagh,” the Srinagar Police tweeted.
