Andrabi unfurls tricolor at Waqf Event at Srinagar

“Modiji’s miraculous vision  has delivered in Kashmir, LG’s leadership is creating miracles”: Dr Darakhshan


Srinagar: Minister of State and Chairperson J&K Waqf Board Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today unfurled the national flag at a mega event organised by J&K Waqf Board in the premises of the Sultan-ul-Arifeen Waqf Institute at Makhdoom Sahib in Srinagar. The event was attended by Members of the Board Dr Ghulam Nabi Haleem & Syed Mohammed Hussain in addition to Waqf Board CEO Dr Syed Majid Jahangir & Magistrate Ishtiyaq Mohiuddin in addition to other dignitaries. Prominent Social Activist Arshed Bhat was also present.

Dr Andrabi inspected the march past and chaired the session of cultural patriotic show by the students of the Waqf Educational Wing. Speaking on the occasion Dr Andrabi extended her warm greetings to all on the real freedom J&K got from violence and separatism. “Unfurling of tricolour fills the environment of the valley with the spirit of nationalism now. We are all fortunate to see this new dawn after a long long spell of the death and violence on this paradise of India.”, said Dr Andrabi. She said that Modiji’s vision has delivered in Kashmir and  the leadership of Manoj Sinha has created wonders in J&K. Dr Andrabi said that now we all have to contribute our way dedicatedly to the growth story of J&K. She hailed the students for their participation in these patriotic shows. “Our youth are now expressing without any fear and they are able to showcase their talent everywhere on J&K”, said Andrabi. A pledge was taken on the occasion to make J&K a more progressive and developed territory by individual and collective efforts. A pledge to free J&K from the menace of drug abuse was also taken.
