‘BJP Leaders Considering Mass Resignations from Party’s Basic Membership in Kashmir’

Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to face a major setback in Kashmir Valley as many leaders, including some prominent faces, are actively considering their resignation from the party’s basic membership, reliable sources said.

They told GNS that the development came after a crucial meeting was held at a hotel here a few days before.

“The leaders have been actively considering their decision to leave the party cadre and may announce it, any time soon”, they said.

“An alliance on the lines of INDIA, formed by parties on national level is expected as the leaders may join other parties or form their own parties”, they said.

In the meantime GNS has learnt that BJP’s J&K President Ravinder Raina is likely to skip a party meeting today.
