Man’s body recovered from Nigeen Lake in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 1: A 64-year-old man was drowned to death in Nigeen Lake near Pokhribal area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar city.
An official said that the dead body of Nissar Ahmad Qureshi son of Mohd yousuf Qureshi of Kashi Mohallah Batamaloo who was drowned in Nigeen lake.
He said that the body was fished out by a team of river police Pir zoo post and handed over to P/S Nageen.
After conducting legal medical formalities, the body was handed over to his family members for last rites.
