Art Exhibition, dialogue on artistic critique, program on artistic heritage marks Day-2 of Youth Cultural Festival

Srinagar, July 19: On the second day of ongoing Youth Cultural Festival (Amrit Yuva Kalotsav) at Tagore Hall here, a program dedicated to artistic heritage was featured by the artists of Sangeet Natak Academy.

During the festival, a dialogue on artistic critique took place between the audience and the young students. The afternoon marked the beginning of the Art Exhibition, showcasing mesmerizing performances like Santoor, the enchanting Kashmiri Pandit dance, Kuchipudi, Kashmiri Folk play ‘Angreez Pather’ by renowned theatre of Kashmir National Bhand Theatre and the soul-stirring play ‘Echoes of Life’.

Pertinent to mention, the three day Yuva Kalotsav, inaugurated yesterday, is being organised by Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi in association with J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages and commemorates the 75 years of India’s Independence.
