Jammu’s nationwide drug campaign destroys 6727 kg of seized drugs

Jammu, July 17 :Jammu’s nationwide drug campaign destroys 6727 kg of seized drugs on Monday chaired virtually by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The police spokesman said that 6727 kg of seized drugs were destroyed in Jammu as a part of a nationwide campaign on the destruction of seized drugs chaired by the Union Home Minister.

This was done under the overall campaign of “Nasha Mukt Bharat,” led by Additional Director General of Police Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh.

Officers of ANTF J&K, NCB, and senior Police officers were also present.

The destruction of drugs was done in accordance with procedures established by Law, said the spokesman, adding that the ADGP Jammu thanked the Judiciary for giving support to this campaign.
