CBC Srinagar organizes pre-publicity program at SP College

Big ICOP on “9 years of governance” Mission life, G20 Presidency and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from 10th to 14th July in Srinagar

Srinagar, July 8:Field office, Central Bureau of Communication, Government of India, Srinagar today organized a program as part of pre-event activities for mobilization of masses ahead of five-days Integrated Communication and Outreach Program (ICOP) to be organized in Srinagar from 10th to 14th July, 2023. The day long program was held at Sri Pratap College, Srinagar.

During the program, people especially youth were informed about different activities planned as part of the 5 days event which will showcase 9 years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan. The programme will also highlight different aspects of Governance, Mission life, G20 presidency and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and other public welfare schemes of the government throughout the last nine years.

 

Addressing the gathering, Ghulam Jeelani Qureshi, Principal, SP College Srinagar said that AKAM and other initiatives have presented every citizen with an opportunity to contribute to the nation’s progress at local level. He thanked the organizers for providing a platform to the youths to express their ideas and display creativity.

 

In-charge, Field Office, Central Bureau of Communication, Srinagar Sikander Qureshi  briefed the audience about the vision behind the five-days exhibition on 9 years of Governance  and also informed that Amrit Mahotsav is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India’s socio-cultural, political and economic identity.

As part of pre-event activities, students participated in Open quiz competitions. The winners of the competitions will be felicitated with prizes and certificates at the conclusion of the event.
