PM Modi to launch projects of Rs 12,110 cr in Varanasi on Friday

Varanasi, July 6 :Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 29 projects worth Rs 12,110.24 crore for the development of eastern Uttar Pradesh on the first day of his two days visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Friday.

Kashi region president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Dilip Singh Patel said that PM Modi will reach Varanasi at 3 pm.

He said that the PM and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address a public meeting in Wajidpur.

Patel said that PM Modi and CM Yogi will take the achievements of 9 years of double engine government to the public in their public meeting.

“Around 50,000 people from all the eight assembly constituencies of Varanasi are expected to

attend the public meeting,” he said.

He said that prior to this PM Modi will talk to the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat, PM Swanidhi Yojana, PM Awas and will provide them certificate, key of the house and Ayushman card.

Patel said that later in the evening the PM will hold a ‘tiffin meeting’ with the workers at BLW guest house.

The meeting will be attended by 120 officer-bearers, including BJP MLAs, MLCs, block heads, chairperson of Zila Panchayat, mayor, 63 corporators of Municipal Corporation. During the meeting PM Modi will give the mantra to the workers to win all the 80 seats in Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh.

On the second day of his visit the PM could meet the intellectuals on July 8. It is being speculated that the PM could inspect the ongoing development projects in Kashi. He had made surprise inspections of the ongoing development works in Varanasi several times in the past.
