Talking to media, Lekhi flanked by newly posted Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan, as per GNS, said that the aim of her surprise visit to Kupwara is to explore its beauty. “It (Kupwara) has tremendous beauty and a vast scope for tourism activity which has not yet been exploited”, Lekhi said.

“Be it the meadows, the border tourism or the border villages, all have a great potential to bring about a better change”, she said.
