DYSSO B’la Organises Pre-Event Activities Across District to Commemorate International Yoga Day

Baramulla, June 16: In connection with International Yoga Day being celebrated annually on 21st June, Department of Youth Services and Sports Baramulla today organised pre event activities at various Educational zones of district baramulla for preparations of the grand event.

The objective of these preparations was to create awareness about the benefits of yoga and to organize events and activities to encourage students to incorporate yoga into their daily lives.

The preparations for international yoga day at the zonal level witnessed enthusiastic participation and engagement from various zones.

Through yoga camps, students were educated about the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga. These initiatives aimed to foster a healthier and more balanced society by promoting the regular practice of yoga.

Meanwhile, a series of deliberations were held wherein the participants were taught the importance of Yoga in promoting physical and mental well being.
