Srinagar Police Once Again Urges People for Installing CCTVs
Says DM Order Under CrPC 144 Also Issued, Non Compliance May Lead FIR under section 188 of IPC
Srinagar, June 14: Police on Wednesday once again advised people to install CCTVs in their houses, shops to avoid burglaries.
In a tweet, Srinagar police wrote, “There have been cases of theft/ burglaries in houses/Shops in the city, these were invariably without any CCTV cameras. Some cases were solved & recoveries were made. Advising all those who can afford to install CCTV cameras as it is the biggest tool in investigation & solving the case.
Meanwhile a senior police officer told GNS that DM order under CrPC 144 also issued, non compliance may lead to FIR under sec 188 of IPC.
