Sanjay Kumar Patwari Emerges Victorious as Ironman in Vietnam Competition

Srinagar, June 9 :Sanjay Kumar Patwari, the Director Rashmi Group, one of India’s largest mining and metals companies, achieved a remarkable feat by winning a prestigious international competition in Vietnam.

He was bestowed with the coveted title of “Ironman.” The Ironman competition is a renowned global event that involves swimming 1.9 kilometers in the sea, followed by a 90-kilometer bicycle ride, and concluding with a 21.1-kilometer run.
Patwari, at the age of 44, completed the entire race in an impressive time of 6 hours and 59 minutes. This year, the competition took place in the vibrant city of Da Nang, Vietnam, and attracted participants from various nations, including 10 Indian athletes. Despite the challenging conditions, with temperatures soaring to 45 degrees Celsius in Danang, Vietnam, on the day of the competition, Patwari persevered and showcased his exceptional endurance. The event was well-prepared, with the presence of 15 ambulances to ensure the safety of the participants.
