Srinagar, June 5: Two residential houses and a cowshed were consumed by an overnight blaze in Doban Kachma village in the Kupwara district of northern Kashmir.

Local residents reported that the fire erupted in one of the houses late at night and rapidly engulfed a neighbouring house, as well as the cowshed.

All three structures suffered extensive damage in the incident, although no injuries were reported.

In the meantime, an official stated that the cause of the fire was currently being determined.
