BJP Leaders Acknowledge Developmental Achievements and Two-lane Steel Arch Bridge Completion in Wayil Ganderbal During Celebratory Program

Ganderbal, June 3, The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit Kashmir today organized a program to commemorate the remarkable nine-year tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the “Vikas Tirth Yatra” programme.
The event, chaired by the BJP’s Media and IT Incharge Manzoor Bhat , National Council Member BJYM Bilal Parray, in presence of Ganderbal District President, Mohd. Amin Shah, Senior Leader Ganderbal Nazir Rania Ruhana Shahzad and IT Incharge Ganderbal Showket Shah.
During the gathering, Manzoor Bhat highlighted the transformative impact of Prime Minister Modi’s leadership over the past nine years. He emphasized how the image of Jammu and Kashmir has evolved and developed under PM Modi’s guidance, particularly with a focus on youth empowerment.
Bhat also pointed out the visible changes witnessed on the ground, attributing them to the relentless efforts of Bharatiya Janata Party workers nationwide. He expressed his enthusiasm for the nationwide celebrations being held to commemorate this unprecedented milestone in Indian politics.
Ganderbal, an essential district in Kashmir, was chosen as the venue for this significant event. Bhat drew attention to the remarkable achievement of the completion of the two-lane steel arch bridge, a vital infrastructure project in Ganderbal that had been pending for over seventy years. He noted that this bridge plays a crucial role in facilitating tourism and connectivity, as it serves as a gateway to popular destinations like Sonmarg, the route to Ladakh, and the starting point of the national highway from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Bhat highlighted the unfortunate lack of attention given to the district’s development by previous chief ministers of Jammu and Kashmir. However, under BJP’s rule, the bridge was successfully completed, and significant improvements were made in other sectors, including tour.
