Police arrests drug smuggler in Baramulla
Srinagar, May 31 :Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a drug smuggler along with contraband substances in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The drug smuggler identified as Latief Mir of Khaipora Tangmarg was arrested with 40 grams of contraband Charas-like substance at Main Market Tangmarg during checking.
Police said the accused was coming from Qazipora towards Tangmarg and upon seeing the checking party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered against him, police added.
