Promoting a Drug-Free Society: Manzoor Bhat Attends Drug Awareness Programme at CMP School Srinagar

 

Srinagar, May 27 : In a dedicated effort to combat the menace of drug addiction and promote a drug-free society, BJP’ Media and IT Head J&K Manzoor Bhat participated in a drug awareness programme held at CMP High School Srinagar. The esteemed event was organized under the guidance of Mymoona, Principal of CMP School, who was also present during the occasion.
Manzoor Bhat, displayed a strong commitment to address the pressing issue of drug addiction that affects individuals and communities alike. Recognizing the importance of community engagement, the leader actively participated in the programme, which aimed to create awareness about the detrimental effects of drug abuse and extend support to those seeking recovery.
The drugs awareness programme conducted at CMP High School Srinagar served as an opportunity to educate individuals about the consequences of substance abuse and the available resources for recovery. Bhat emphasized the need for comprehensive initiatives that encompass prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation, involving all stakeholders including government agencies, educational institutions, and civil society organizations.


Mymoona, Principal of CMP School, commended the BJP leader’s initiative and expressed gratitude for their participation in the programme. She highlighted the crucial role educational institutions play in shaping young minds and instilling values that discourage drug abuse. The principal stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to safeguard the well-being of the youth and build a stronger and healthier society.
During the programme, various speakers, including experts in the field of addiction, shared their knowledge and experiences, shedding light on the psychological, physical, and social ramifications of drug addiction. Interactive sessions were conducted to engage attendees, encouraging them to actively participate in creating a supportive environment for those in recovery.
