Tangmarg, May 27 :Police arrested wanted Drug smuggler namely Khursheed Ahmad Bakshi S/O Mohd Rafiq Bakshi R/O Watalpora Tangmarg during naka checking at Main Market Tangmarg near Hotel Mahajan who was coming from Drung towards Tangmarg and upon seeing the patrolling party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During his personal search 15 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Tangmarg and investigations set in motion.
