Indian Forest Officers from IGNFA Dehradun visit Dal Lake

Srinagar, May 15: Indian Forest Officers from IGNFA Dehradun today visited the world famous Dal Lake, here.

Project officer Gazalla Abdullah and Executive Engineer Khurshid Ahmad Lake Conservation and Management Authority Srinagar on the occasion imparted training to these IFS officers and made them acquainted about various management activities of Dal Lake and its catchment area as well.

The officers also visited the Char Chinari where Project officers briefed them about the recently transplanted two tall chinars and the challenges which were faced during their transportation and transplantation.

The officers gave feedback that it was a very fruitful session for them and all Forest Officers should come to visit this beautiful and well managed lake and should get acquainted with the activities that the concerned officers are taking here to maintain the health of the lake.
