Man injured in bear Attack in Kupwara

Srinagar, May 12 : A man was injured after he was attacked by a wild bear in Drugmulla area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.

An official told news agency – Kashmir scroll (KS) that one person belonging to Bakerwal community identified as Tufail Ahmad Chechi (55) son of Chand-din Chechi resident of Rajouri was attacked by a bear when he was grazing his  cattle near Marbal colony Drugmulla.

He said, injured has been shifted to SDH Kupwara for treatment where his condition is said to be stable.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and a wildlife department team has been rushed to the spot.
