Inclement weather: Srinagar-Kargil road, Mughal road closed, traffic delayed on Srinagar-Jammu highway

Srinagar, Apr 28: Traffic on Srinagar-Jammu Highway was disrupted after a big trailer broke down in Dalwas area of Ramban district, police said.

Traffic Police requested the stranded passengers and truckers to cooperate with them till the road is thrown open.

“The movement of heavy motor vehicles is delayed due to the breakdown of a big trailer at Dalwas,” police informed.

They also informed that due to inclement weather, the Srinagar-Kargil road is closed and so is the Mughal road. Police said that it has been snowing as a result Mughal Road has been closed.

Meanwhile, Assistant Executive Engineer R&B, Mughal Road said that the snow clearance operation is in full swing.
