DC Gbl inspects arrangements for Youth Entrepreneurship Festival at GDC

Ganderbal, Apr 17: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today inspected the available infrastructure in GDC Ganderbal where many events related to the Youth Entrepreneurship Festival are to be held.

During the visit, the DC took a round of available infrastructure at GDC and gave necessary instructions for making arrangements to carry out various activities during the Festival.

On the occasion, the DC took detailed discussion with the Program Director MGNF, IIM Jammu which is academic partner for Youth Entrepreneurship Festival, regarding the setting of Entrepreneurship Development cell at GDC and it was also proposed that the Cell should be run by the College students where Innovation labs, Idea Incubation labs and Tinkering Labs shall be set.

The DC gave necessary directions to the concerned for taking necessary steps for renovation of main block, auditorium, main ground and beautification of road from Towheed Chowk to Qamaria Stadium.

He also directed for making the Youth Lane alongside the venue where a number of Youth Engaging Mural Paintings shall be painted on the walls.

The DC also checked the venue for Success and Innovation talk events in which experts of innovation and successful entrepreneurs of the district shall deliver their sessions and share their success stories.

The DC was accompanied by ADDC Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani; ExEn R&B, EO Municipal Council Ganderbal and other concerned.
