Why does BJP defend Adani so vehemently, asks Rahul

New Delhi, Apr 7: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday launched a fresh attack at the BJP-led government over Adani Group issue, and accused the ruling dispensation of defending billionaire businessman Gautam Adani.

“The real question is, why does the BJP defend Adani so vehemently?,” asked the former Congress president, in an apparent reference to the Adani Group issue, in a social media post.

The Hindenburg Research report alleged the Adani Group had engaged in stock manipulation and accounting fraud schemes over the course of decades.

The former Congress president earlier said that scared of anyone and will keep continuing to ask the Prime Minister Narendra Modi with is relationship with Adani.

He claimed that Modi’s relationship with Adani began when he was the CM of Gujarat.

Opposition parties has been demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the Hindenburg Research report over Adani Group.
