Srinagar, Mar 29: A biker died after there was a collision between a motorcycle and an Alto-800 in Chattargam Nowgam area of Budgam district on Wednesday.
Official sources said that the accident occurred in Sudso area of Chattergam. They said that the biker identified as Muzafar Ahmed sustained grieves injuries and was shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment where he succumbed.
Hospital sources confirmed that the biker Muzafar Ahmed, a resident of Raj Bagh Srinagar died in the hospital. They said the son of the deceased was also brought to the hospital and he is stable and sustained minor injuries.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law.
