Qurat-ul-Ain Masoodi quits Apni Party
Say, social service is in my blood; cannot leave the noble cause for politics
Sriagar 27March: social activist Qurat-ul-Ain Masoodi has announced her disassociation with Apni Party.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer ), Qurat-ul-Ain in an statement said that she joined the party some six months ago but did not involve herself in any political activity, nor participated in any party event since then.
Stating a reason for quitting the political party, she said, “over the period of past few months, I have realized that I can extend my services to the people through social work that I have been doing for the past more than fifteen years.”
