DC Gbl inspects preparation for Ashthami & Nawami at Kheerbawani Temple Tulamulla

Chairs meeting to finalize arrangements for both days

Ganderbal, Mar 27: Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir today visited Kheerbawani Temple Tullamulla to inspect and finalize the arrangements for ensuing Ashthami and Nawami festival which is to be celebrated on 29th and 30th March.

During visit the DC was accompanied by Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, Tehsildar Lar and other concerned.

On the occasion the DC took the round of the premises and inspected the preparation for the celebration of Ashthami & Nawami and ordered the concerned officers to ensure quality arrangements are put in place on both the days for the convenience of the devotees visiting here.

The DC was briefed by the representatives of Darmath trust regarding the arrangements to be put in place including un-interrupted power and water supply, repairment of street lights, availability of adequate essential food items, sanitation and cleanliness in and around the Kheerbawani Temple, deployment of health teams, adequate transport facilities, security arrangements and other related arrangements.

On the occasion the DC assured the representatives of Darmath trust that all requisite facilities will be put in place on time.

Earlier, the DC convened a meeting of concerned officers to finalize the arrangements for both the days here at DC Office.

The said meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, ACD, ACP, EO Municipal Council Ganderbal, Tehsildar Lar besides representatives of Darmath trust.

During the meeting, the DC gave necessary instructions to the concerned departments for ensuring all facilities are put in place on time.
