CMO Ganderbal launched TB Mukt Panchayat programme

Ganderbal, Mar 24: As per the directions from higher authorities CMO Ganderbal Dr Afroza Shah today launched TB Mukht Panchayat programme on the eve of World TB day from Wangath, the remote panchayat of Block Kangan, District Ganderbal.

DDC Wangath along with other PRIs also attended the event in which local inhabitants took part.

On this occasion CMO Ganderbal laid stress on the motto of observing this day with the slogan “TB Harega ore Desh Jeetega”.

She emphasized the roles and responsibilities of all the stakeholders in eliminating the diseases on mission mode as per the  PM’s directions.

On this occasion many suspected and vulnerable population were screened by the team of doctors and paramedical staff and their sputum samples were taken for testing purpose.

Apart from CMO Ganderbal DDC Wangath,BMO Kangan,Nodal Officer NTEP Ganderbal and MO AD Wangath spoke on the occasion.
