Mayor of Srinagar extends greetings to people on Navroz eve

Srinagar, Mar 20: Mayor of Srinagar, Junaid Azim Matoo has extended warm greetings to the people on the eve of Navroz.

Describing Novroz as the festival that marks the beginning of the spring season, Matoo said the day has a symbolic, religious and cultural importance too as the day signifies the new begining and rejuvenation.

In his message to the people on the occasion, he wished the people a very warm, happy, prosperous and peaceful life ahead. “Navroz in Kashmir also symbolizes the age-old brotherhood, communal harmony and coexistence,” said the Mayor on the occasion.
