Crackdown On Drug Peddlers Continue; Ganderbal Police Arrested a Drug Peddler, Psychotropic Substance Recovered & Seized

Ganderbal, Mar 18:To eradicate the menace of Drugs from the society, Ganderbal Police apprehended a Drug Peddler along with Psychotropic Substance in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kheerbawani.

The Police Party led by SHO PS Kheerbawani Insp. Mudasir Zaroo during Patrolling intercepted one person at Bagoorampora Saloora. During his personal search, 18 strips of Banned Spasmo Proxyvon Tablets were recovered from his possession & seized on the spot. The accused got arrested who disclosed his identity as Showkat Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Mohd Bhat R/O Saloora Ganderbal.

In this regard, Case FIR No. 14/2023 under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Kheer Bhawani and further investigation has been taken up.

The swift action by Ganderbal Police has been applauded by the general public. Crackdown and Strict action against Drug Peddlers shall continue in future also and legal action will be taken against them.
