Ganderbal, Mar 15: On the directions of Secretary District Legal Service Authority Ganderbal, Nusrat Ali Hakak and under the guidance of Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kangan, Essar-Ul-Nabi, the Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kangan today observed ‘World Consumer Day’ at Government Middle School Chattergul Kangan.
Speaking on the occasion, Resource Person Advocate Mudasir Ahmad said that World Consumer Day is observed every year on 15th of March with an aim to raise awareness about consumer Rights and promote Consumer protection.
He said this day provided an opportunity to highlight the importance of protecting consumers, promoting their rights and ensuring that they have access to safe and affordable products and services.
Ahmad also said that the day serves as a reminder that consumers have the right to be protected from unfair business practices and to have access to safe, quality goods and services.
