Injured in a road accident, septuagenarian succumbs at Srinagar hospital

Srinagar, Mar 13: A septuagenarian who was injured in a road accident in the Langate area of North Kashmir’s Handwara yesterday succumbed this morning in a Srinagar hospital.

As reported earlier, a 70-year-old local from the Langate area, Abdul Rehman Dar was admitted at the SMHS Hospital Srinagar after he was hit by a vehicle.

Hospital sources informed the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the man died in the hospital on Monday morning.

After the completion of medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family.

Police have already registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of law.
