BJP Unit Ganderbal greets people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasions of Shab-e-Baraat and Holi

Ganderbal, Mar 7: Shab-e-Barat, Barat Night, Cheragh e Barat, Berat Kandili, or Nisfu Syaaban is a cultural celebration celebrated in many South Asian, Central Asian, South East Asian and Middle Eastern Muslim countries, on the 15th night of the month of Sha’ban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. Holi is celebrated for the eternal and divine love of god Radha and Krishna. The day also signifies the triumph of good over evil, as it commemorates the victory of god Vishnu as Narasimha Narayana over Hiranyakashipu.

Among the prominent office bearers of BJP Ganderbal who congratulated People on the occasion are District President Mohammed Amin Shah, District Vice-Presidents Riyaz Ahmad Lone, Ruheena Shehzad, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Imtiyaz Ahmad Tantary, Abid Hussain Bhat, Azmat Hussain Khan.
