JKMPCL organizes Dairy Darbar at Tullamulla

Ganderbal, Mar 4: Jammu and Kashmir Milk Producers Co-operatives Limited (JKMPCL) today organised a one day awareness programme for Milk Producing Farmers at Tullamulla Ganderbal.

The programme was presided over by the Mission Director, Dairy Development J&K, Er Narinder Singh Bali along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah.

The camp witnessed overwhelming participation of Cooperative societies and milk producers of the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Mission Director, Dairy Development J&K highlighted the importance of Dairy Cooperative Societies and urged the participants’ especially unemployed youth to get benefit of centrally sponsored schemes for Dairy Development.

He also urged the concerned departments to generate awareness among the masses about Dairy Development schemes in the district, so that rural people, especially educated youth in particular, set up their income generating units viz Dairy units/farms and milk cooperative societies to earn their livelihood.

Among others, the camp was attended by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Ganderbal, BDC Chairperson Ganderbal and local PRIs.
