Distt Admin Ganderbal holds grievances redressal camp at Manasbal

Ganderbal, Mar 1: To have firsthand appraisal of grievances, the District Administration Ganderbal today held grievances redressal camp as a part of weekly Block Diwas for block Safapora at Meeting Hall of Manasbal Development Authority Ganderbal.

The Grievances redressal camp was jointly presided over by District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson, Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir.

Scores of individuals and PRIs of block Safapora apprised the DC about the problems being faced by them in day to day life.

The main issues highlighted during the programme were related to augmentation of water supply and electricity infrastructure, repairs of street lights, upgradation of roads, better healthcare facilities, ATM facility and other issues of public importance.

The DC gave a patient hearing to them and passed on the spot directions to the concerned officers for early redressal of their genuine grievances pertaining to their departments.

DDC Chairperson while interacting with the deputations said that the administration is committed to provide all basic facilities at the doorsteps of the people and assured all support for timely redressal of issues.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the aim of organizing grievance camps is to take first hand appraisal of problems being faced by the locals and assured them that all genuine demands will be resolved in a time bound manner.

Additional District Development Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani; ACD, CEO WMDA, ACP and other district and sectoral officers were present on the occasion.
