DDC Member Rafiabad Shabir Ahmad Lone calls on Hon’ble Chairperson J&K Waqf Board, Dr Darakshan Andrabi at Jammu

Jammu, Feb 28: The District Development Council (DDC) Member, Rafiabad, Shabir Ahmad Lone today called on the Hon’ble Chairperson J&K Waqf Board, Dr Darakshan Andrabi in her Office Chamber at Jammu.

The DDC Member apprised the Hon’ble Chairperson J&K Waqf Board about various ongoing works in his DDC Constituency and conveyed satisfaction with regard to quality and pace of works.

Shabir Ahmad Lone also apprised the Hon’ble Chairperson regarding extension of work on Ziyarat Sharief of Hazrat Syed Malik Sahib Bukhari at village Nadihal.

People from all over the UT of J&K have high regards of this revered shrine and visit the place round the year to pay their obeisance.

The DDC Member put forth his demand for bringing such ziyarat on religious tourism map and also demanded that the remaining work at the ziyarat be also taken up on war-footing basis.

The DDC Member also flagged-off his demand for bringing other ziyarats of Rafiabad under the ambit of tourism such as Baba Qadir Sahab of Tragpora, Ziyarat Shah-i-Hamdan Sattarwan Ladu Rafiabad and Ziayarat Soin Sadinar etc.

 

The Hon’ble Chairperson J&K Waqf Board, Dr Darakshan Andrabi gave patient hearing to the demands of the DDC Member Rafiabad and assured him that all these demands shall be met in a time bound manner.
