Dr Darakhshan takes stock of preparations for Meraj-e-Aalam celebrations in a meeting of J&K Waqf Board today

Srinagar, Feb 17: Dr Darakhshan Andrabi chaired a meeting of J&K Waqf Board officers & took stock of the preparations regarding Me’rajun Nabi (SAW) celebrations being observed at all important shrines & mosques in the Union territory. All senior Waqf Board officers, Administrators participated in the meeting from all districts of J&K. Dr Darakhshan Andrabi directed the officers to put in place all requisite arrangements so that the devotees don’t face any kind of problems during the great festival. Waqf Board Chairperson lauded other allied departments & the concerned Deputy Commissioners for their timely support in giving the arrangements the final shape. Extending her greetings all on the occasion, Dr Darakhshan requested the public to cooperate with the management for smooth celebrations at major shrines & religious places throughout Jammu & Kashmir.
