Burglary case solved in Pattan  Within 48 Hrs ,two arrested: Police

Baramulla,  Feb 11: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday solved another burglary case by arresting two accused in North Kashmir’s Pattan area of Baramulla district.

A Police Spokesperson said that on 8 February, 2023 Police Station Pattan received a complaint from one Nusrat Mehmood resident of Newran Chuker Pattan stating therein that during intervening nights of 2nd & 3rdm February-2023, some unknown burglars barged into his house and stole household items which includes Invertor, Battery etc.

Accordingly Police Station Pattan registered Case FIR number 37/2023 under relevant sections of law and investigation was started.

“During the course of investigation of the case with the help of technical and human resources names of some suspects came to surface, two of them namely Fayaz Ahmad Rather S/O Ali Mohd Rather, Aadil Ahmad Reshi S/O Ghulam Mohd Reshi residents of Palpora Pattan were identified who were called for questioning. After thorough interrogation they disclosed that they are involved in the theft, who were arrested immediately in the instant case”, he said.

The spokesperson said that on their disclosure stolen household property were recovered from their possession.
