DC Gbl holds weekly Block Diwas at Panchayat Ghar Theeru 

Ganderbal, Feb 8: Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired weekly block Diwas at Panchayat Ghar Theeru and listened to public issues of block Lar.

During weekly block Diwas, PRIs and general public of the area put forth their issues regarding upgradation of power and water supply, better healthcare facilities, upgradation of inner roads and other issues pertaining to the general public.

The DC while addressing the various issues highlighted the initiatives taken in sanitation management of panchayats in the district and urged the PRIs to sensitize and intensify awareness on the importance of Swachh Gram and encourage them to work for cleanliness of surroundings.

The DC gave patient hearing to the issues and assured the PRIs and locals that all their issues would be taken into consideration in a time bound manner. He also directed the officers of line departments to work in coordination with the PRIs so that equitable development of all panchayats is ensured in the district.

The block Diwas was attended by additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah, Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr. Bashir Ahmad, ACP, DFO, Sindh Forest Division besides other district and sectoral officers.
