Stone Crusher Owner voluntarily evacuates encroached Kahcharai land at Gbl

Dist Admin assures to safeguard livelihood of poor; retrieved land to be used in public interest

Ganderbal, Feb 7: The District Administration Ganderbal today appreciated the stone crusher owner who voluntarily agreed to evacuate Kahcharai land measuring 8 kanal at Watalbagh Ganderbal and has set an example for others.

The said owner gave undertaking to the concerned revenue authorities of Tehsil Lar and retrieved  Kahcharai land was also undertaken by them.

District Administration reiterated that the encroachment drive shall be strictly held in consonance with various court directions and orders from time to time.

 Furthermore, it was given out that most of the retrieved land has been handed over to various departments like Horticulture, Agriculture, RDD and others so that same could be utilized for various developmental purposes as per the requirement to benefit the masses at ground level.

The District Administration sought cooperation of the masses and appealed to all who have grabbed state land illegally to handover it voluntarily to the revenue authorities as this land belongs collectively to the masses and no one has legal right on it.
