DC B’la inspects PHC Singhpora; takes Stock of Medicare facilities

Directs Authorities to ensure better & qualitative services to the patients

Baramulla, Feb 4: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar accompanied by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Zahoor Ahmad Raina and other concerned officers today paid visit to Primary Health Centre Singhpora to review the medicare and other necessary facilities being provided to the patients.

On the occasion,  the DC took stock of various medical facilities wherein she stressed upon concerned authorities to provide better and qualitative services to the patients.

The DC directed the hospital authorities to provide better and efficient medicare services to the patients and added that every effort shall be taken to ensure qualitative medicare system.

Dr Sehrish emphasized on maintaining hygienic surrounding inside and outside the hospital besides terming sanitation vital for achieving good health standards. She also reiterated upon administration’s commitment towards strengthening robust health care system so that better health care system is ensured.

Later, the DC also visited Drug De-addiction center at Baramulla to inspect the treatment and counselling facilities being provided to the affected youth.

During interaction with the victims, the DC sought their views about the treatment facilities and counselling being given to them.

The patients apprised the DC that they are being given satisfactory treatment at the centres. They also said that they will spread the message about the ill effects of the menace so that no one becomes an addict to the substance abuse.

Meawhile, the DC directed the concerned authorities to ensure that the heating and other arrangements are provided to the patients so that they do not feel any difficulties at the center.
