BJP General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul chairs BJP convention at Bandipora

“Rahul Gandhi’s Yatra was possible in BJP Govt only as Stone pelting, strikes are a past”: Dr Darakhshan
Srinagar, Jan 31: BJP organized a one day Party Convention at Bandipora in which Party Political In-charge for North Kashmir & National Executive Member Dr Darakhshan Andrabi also participated. BJP District President Bandipora Naseer Ahmad Lone, DDC Tulail Aijaz Khan & BJP leader Aarif Raja also attended the convention. This was the first party meeting in Bandipora after the constitution of the new District Body of the party here. The new party office bearers were briefed about the party’s political strategy for future so that a strong public base is created at the ground level. Speaking on the occasion BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul said that the welfare schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modiji need to be carried to the people in all remotest areas so that they get benefitted by these schemes and the party receives the public support too. He emphasized on the new District Body & its affiliate units to make it mandatory to involve common populace in BJP’s political agenda of peace & prosperity.
BJP North Kashmir In-charge & senior party leader Dr Darakhshan Andrabi later addressed a presser after the convention in which she gave the details about the party’s agenda of peace & progress of J&K including all sections of society. In reply to the questions from the media, Dr Andrabi said that Congress rally could only happen in Kashmir because we had been able to wipe out the impact of violence-makers in Kashmir after decades and now this beautiful part of the country is regaining its popularity as the paradise of peace & prosperity.  “BJP has freed Kashmir from stone-pelters, separatists, political looters, dynasts & ushered a new age of peace & progress in J&K. Rahul-rally was possible only during the BJP regime when violent processions, stone pelting have become a matter of the past. In this peaceful Kashmir Rahul Gandhi dared to enter on foot in a rally. He should thank PM Modiji. Post abrogation of 370 from Kashmir, we see record investment coming to Kashmir, mega projects being envisioned & implemented, transparency in governance being assured which has changed things here for good. People, especially youth power, are happy with the new environment because they find it conducive for their economic & social growth”, said Dr Darakhshan. In reply to another question Dr Andrabi said that BJP doesn’t believe in any kind of suppression on media & media in India was free to do its job without any pressures. “Congress has a long history of influencing media by pressure-tactics but now they allege BJP for the same which is not true.
