Srinagar, Jan 30 :On the occasion of 74th Republic Day, a five day National Integration Tour of thirty Veer Naris from Ladakh was conducted by HQ Leh Sub Area under the aegis of Fire and Fury Corps. The tour was flagged off by General Officer Commanding, Leh Sub Area on 23 Jan 2023 from Leh.
While flagging off the Veer Naris contingent, he interacted with the Veer Naris wherein it was highlighted that most of the Veer Naris have never gone out of Union Territory of Ladakh in their lifetime. He expressed that this tour is an apt recognition of their contribution and sacrifices towards the nation. The tour members witnessed the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi and visited the National War Memorial and Taj Mahal during the trip which was flagged in at Leh on 28 Jan 2023 by General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps.
