Flights delayed at Srinagar Airport due to inclement weather

Srinagar, Jan 21: All flights at the Srinagar Airport are delayed due to low visibility after fresh snowfall on Saturday morning.

Airport authorities said that flights have been delayed due to inclement weather. They said that operations will commence once the weather improves.

Farooq Ahmed, a Delhi-bound passenger, told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the Air Asia flight that was scheduled to leave for Delhi early morning has been delayed, and now it is being informed that it will hit the sky at around 2:30, in case the weather improves.

There are hundreds of passengers stranded at the Airport due to delayed flights.

Notably, parts of Kashmir Valley experienced light rainfall and snowfall.
