No Grenade Attack in Zoonimar Srinagar: Police

Urges Media Persons To Verify News Before Spreading it

Srinagar, Jan 11: Police on Wednesday rebutted any news regarding a grenade attack in Zoonimar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

In a tweet, the police said that there is fake news circulated by some irresponsible people about a grenade attack in the Zoonimar area.

The police spokesman further stated that it is a completely fake news and media persons are requested to verify authenticity of news before spreading such unverified news, reads the statement.
