ADDC Ganderbal chairs public grievances camp at Kangan

Ganderbal, Jan 11: The District Administration Ganderbal today held grievances redressal camp at Govt High School Cheerwan for block Kangan as a part of weekly block Diwas.
The programme was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani.
On the occasion, PRIs and locals from block Kangan apprised the ADDC about their needs and grievances including better public transport facilities, upgradation of electricity and water facilities, lack of electricity infrasturture in village Hayan Palpora particulary electric poles and wires, playground at village Cheerwan A and B, macadamization of roads at village Margund, repairment of old pipeline in Halqa Margund, Scarcity of Potable drinking water at village Mammer and other issues of public importance.
After giving patient hearing to the public, the ADDC gave onspot directions to the concerned departments for redressal of possible grievances and assured that all genuine demands shall be looked into on priority.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that the purpose of conducting block Diwas is to reach every corner of the District and listen the grievance/issues of the area for immediate redressal.
He stressed on the speedy completion of ongoing developmental projects in all panchayat halqas and instructed concerned parties to resolve all issues on priority basis, halting the work execution.
On the occasion the participants were also apprised about different social security schemes and online services by various departments like Revenue, Agriculture, Handicrafts and other departments.
Among others, the block Diwas attended by CPO, Irfan Giri, SDM Kangan, Javaid Ahmad Rather,  ACD and other district and sectoral officers.
