District B’gam 1st to issue Birth & Death certificates through ORGI CRS portal

SF Hamid terms it another milestone in public service delivery

Budgam, Dec 30: The District Budgam has started issuing of Birth and Death Certificates and has become the first District in the UT of J&K to issue Birth certificate through ORGI uniform CRS portal.

Terming it as another milestone in public service delivery, the Deputy Commissioner Budgam (DC), S F Hamid said that Health Institutions, Villages, Municipal areas etc have already been mapped on the CRS portal and applicants can now apply for online registration of Births and Deaths. Besides, the Birth and Death certificates can also be issued through a portal.

He said that it is another step towards Good Governance and Digital India to ensure hassle-free public service delivery to the general public.

DC requested the general public to use the services and also share the feedback.
