Says Militants Were Travelling in a Truck
Jammu, Dec 28: Three unidentified militants have been killed in an encounter at Sidra area of Jammu district on Wednesday.
A senior police officer told GNS that during firefight three militants have been killed, arms and ammunition have also been recovered. However the identity of the militants is being ascertained.
Meanwhile searches are still going on at the encounter spot, the officer added.
Official sources told GNS that militants were travelling in a truck which was intercepted by the security forces leading to a firefight. The driver of the vehicle has fled from the spot.
Earlier, a gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Sidra area.
